Podcast to Book The World of Lore

I listen to the podcast Lore by Aaron Mahnke so naturally I would read the subsequent books he put out as well. I liked them. They read like he talks on his podcast, which I like. They are an easy and quick series about things I enjoy reading about. I love the thought of a scary story, although these aren't necessarily scary, they can be creepy. So I wouldn't term them horror but they do have horrific themes.
I did find the first two at my local library but the last one I did buy because I like them so much. If you don't like scary stories I wouldn't suggest reading them. And if you like the books definitely listen to his podcast. It is very nicely done and I love the stories.

When choosing a book-Think Pink

We all get stuck in a book rut. I like to find different ways of choosing a book other than just the cover. Covers can be deceiving. I decided I needed to get out of my book comfort zone and only picked books that were pink. It didn't matter what it was, it just needed to be pink. I stumbled on some books that I really enjoyed. I don't remember which book it was that got me to read Lee Nichols, but I read the whole series of "Tales of a Drama Queen" which were hysterical. All because I chose to read a book that was pink. DOn't limit yourself to one genre or one writer, you could be missing out on some great stuff.
